Approximately 440 photographic prints and negatives of ca. 72 rolls of film documenting the existing West Side Highway in New York City prior to Federal improvements. Also included are: xerox copies of 48 prints with attached extended informational captions written by Nooney; 18 installation photographs by Jerry L. Thompson of Nooney's part in the New York Historical Society's exhibition "Moving in the City" and in the Municipal Arts Society exhibition "The West Side Highway: A Last Look"; 2 publications on the West Side Highway Project; and a file of newspaper and magazine clippings, notes and correspondence.
